FUZHOU, China, Aug. 04, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — E-Home Household Service Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: EJH) (the “Company” or “E-Home”), a provider of integrated household services in China, today announced that it has begun supplying traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbs for the provisional studies into feasible treatment applications of TCM for Monkeypox that were launched last month.
The company announced last week that it has started the provisional investigation via its recently acquired majority ownership in Zhongrun (Fujian) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (“Zhongrun”), a leading medicine and personal care products operator in China. Zhongrun will work with leading hospitals, TCM study institutions and TCM pharmaceuticals companies to supply various ranges of TCM herbs for the Monkeypox programs.
The U.S. this month named a federal official to lead the country’s response efforts as rising Monkeypox case numbers prompted California and Illinois to join New York in declaring the outbreak an emergency. Among their goals will be increasing equitable access to tests, vaccines and treatments.
