Additionally, customers have the option to add Ford’s BlueCruise automated driver-assist feature at an extra cost.
The Flash grade also comes with the F-150 Lightning’s Tow Technology Package as standard. This package includes electronic aids such as Pro Trailer Backup Assist, Trailer Brake Controller, Smart Hitch, On-Board Scales, Smart Trailer Tow Connection, and Trailer Reverse Guidance. These features enhance the towing capabilities of the F-150 Lightning, making it easier and safer for drivers to tow heavy loads.
While an official EPA range estimate for the 2024 F-150 Lightning Flash has not been released, Ford has stated that owners can expect a range of around 320 miles. This impressive range is made possible by the vehicle’s dual-motor powertrain, which is rated at 580 horsepower for models equipped with the extended-range battery. Trucks with the standard battery also feature a dual-motor powertrain, albeit with a slightly lower rating of 452 horsepower.
