Toyota is taking its luxury game to a whole new level with the 2024 Toyota Tundra 1794 Limited Edition. This special edition truck is based on the 1794 grade and will be produced in a limited run of 1,500 trucks, each featuring unique numbering and a range of upgrades.
The name “1794” is a tribute to the former ranch on which the San Antonio plant, where the Tundra is built, is located. The ranch, which was established in 1794 by Spanish colonist Juan Ignacio de Casanova, was owned by his descendants until 2003 when it was sold to Toyota. The 1794 Limited Edition picks up on this ranch theme with premium leather trim sourced from Texas company Saddleback Leather. This luxurious leather is used to line the seats and dash, as well as for satchel-style storage pockets on the rear of the seats. To further enhance the luxury experience, Toyota includes a matching overnight bag, tool roll, key glove, and small pouch.
In terms of performance upgrades, the 1794 Limited Edition boasts enhanced off-road capability thanks to 2.5-inch Fox Internal Bypass shocks, a 1.1-inch lift, and off-road tires. The exterior of the truck features several dark accents, including on the grille, and a unique stamped tailgate adds to its distinctive look.
Under the hood, the Tundra 1794 Limited Edition is powered by Toyota’s range-topping powertrain. It combines a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine with an electric motor for a total output of 437 horsepower. This hybrid setup delivers both power and efficiency, making it a standout option in the truck segment. The 1794 Limited Edition also comes with the Tundra’s CrewMax cab, 5.5-foot bed, and four-wheel drive for added versatility.
