Sony has recently announced its lineup of PlayStation Plus games for the month of July. Subscribers on the Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers will have access to three exciting titles: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Alan Wake Remastered, and Endling – Extinction is Forever. These games will be available for both PS5 and PS4 users.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, released in 2020, is a controversial installment in the popular military shooter franchise. The game is set in the early 1980s and revolves around a conspiracy theory about a Soviet spy named Perseus infiltrating the US atomic weapons program. Despite its questionable premise and its potentially tone-deaf Vietnam War flashback missions, the game offers the classic Call of Duty shoot-em-up experience. Players can engage in intense combat in various Cold War hotspots, such as East Berlin, Turkey, and Moscow. In addition to the story mission, the game includes multiplayer and zombies modes, providing hours of entertainment for players.
Alan Wake Remastered is a 2021 remake of the original adventure title that was initially exclusive to Xbox 360. The game follows the story of Alan Wake, a successful author on vacation in the fictional town of Bright Falls, Washington. When his wife mysteriously disappears, Wake embarks on a nightmarish investigation that blurs the boundaries between reality and fiction. The remastered version of the game includes the main storyline as well as the expansions “The Signal” and “The Writer,” offering players a comprehensive and immersive experience.
Endling – Extinction is Forever is a third-person survival-adventure game that puts players in the role of the last surviving fox. The game is set in a future reality where humans have depleted Earth’s resources, leaving the planet in ruins. Players must guide their three cubs to safety and save the entire species. Aside from its thematic commentary on climate change, nature preservation, and human excess, Endling provides enjoyable stealth gameplay with 2D movement in dynamic 3D environments. The game is relatively short but offers a captivating and emotional journey.
These three games will be available for PlayStation Plus subscribers from July 4th to July 31st. Additionally, Sony has announced that subscribers have until July 3rd to claim the June games, including NBA 2K23, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Trek to Yomi.
By offering a diverse range of games, Sony continues to provide value to its PlayStation Plus subscribers. Whether players enjoy engaging in intense shootouts, unraveling mysterious narratives, or experiencing emotional survival adventures, there is something for everyone in this month’s lineup. PlayStation Plus subscribers can look forward to a month of thrilling gameplay as they delve into the worlds of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Alan Wake Remastered, and Endling – Extinction is Forever. Don’t miss out on these exciting titles and ensure you claim them within the designated time frame.
