We regret to inform you that despite our best efforts, we have been unsuccessful in finding a future for VanMoof. As a result, we have been compelled to file for bankruptcy. The administrators, who are now acting as trustees, will provide further details regarding the implications of this decision. However, before we proceed, we would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to all of you.
Fourteen years ago, we embarked on a journey with a wild, audacious idea to change the world. It is solely because of you, our dedicated and loyal supporters, that we were able to make a significant impact and strive to transform our cities for the better. We are immensely thankful to each and every one of you, and we sincerely apologize for not being able to continue this mission alongside you.
While we certainly feel a sense of sadness, our prevailing emotion is one of immense pride in what we have accomplished together.
