Dear all,
We regret to inform you that despite our best efforts, we have been unsuccessful in finding a future for VanMoof. As a result, we have been compelled to file for bankruptcy. The administrators, who are now acting as trustees, will provide further details regarding the implications of this decision. However, before we proceed, we would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to all of you.
Fourteen years ago, we embarked on a journey with a wild, audacious idea to change the world. It is solely because of you, our dedicated and loyal supporters, that we were able to make a significant impact and strive to transform our cities for the better. We are immensely thankful to each and every one of you, and we sincerely apologize for not being able to continue this mission alongside you.
While we certainly feel a sense of sadness, our prevailing emotion is one of immense pride in what we have accomplished together. This has truly been the honor of our lives, and even though the current chapter of VanMoof is coming to a close, we firmly believe that the VanMoof alumni will continue to be a force for good, wherever they go.
As we navigate this challenging time, we extend our warmest regards to all of you.
With gratitude,
