During Samsung’s Unpacked event, the company unveiled not only the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 phones but also a new lineup of Galaxy Tab S9 tablets. The Galaxy Tab S9, S9 Plus, and S9 Ultra offer improved performance, durability, and display quality compared to their predecessors.
Starting at $799.99, the Galaxy Tab S9 is the smallest tablet in the lineup with an 11-inch display. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor and offers faster performance compared to the Tab S8 series. The tablet is now IP68-rated for dust and water resistance, a feature uncommon in non-ruggedized tablets. The OLED display has a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, providing smooth scrolling and gaming experiences. The Tab S9 supports Wi-Fi 6E and can be preordered with the Galaxy S Pen included.
The 11-inch Tab S9 is available for preorder starting today at a price of $799.99 for the base model with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. Customers who preorder will receive a free storage upgrade to 256GB. Samsung is also offering up to $650 off with an eligible trade-in and $40 off a pair of Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
