Kevin Costner’s estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, is in the process of moving out of their home, as ordered by the court. Moving trucks were seen at the couple’s ocean-front estate in Carpinteria, CA, with another U-Haul spotted leaving the property earlier in the morning. The divorce proceedings have been contentious, with fights over child support and allegations of financial improprieties.
According to their prenuptial agreement, Christine was required to vacate the home by the end of the month. As part of the move, she had a moving crew to assist with the heavy lifting, but she also supervised the process closely. Kevin had previously filed a detailed list of items that she was allowed to take with her.
While Christine is focused on her move, Kevin is currently at one of his other homes in Aspen, Colorado. He has their three children with him for a summer vacation. However, Christine already took the kids to Hawaii a week ago, where they stayed in a luxurious resort. During that trip, she spent time with a longtime friend of Kevin and Christine.
The divorce between Kevin and Christine has been a tumultuous affair. Christine filed for divorce in May, and since then, there have been numerous disputes over child support and the validity of the prenuptial agreement. Kevin has accused Christine of taking large sums of money and assets behind his back.
As the move-out process continues, it seems that Christine will be long gone by the time Kevin returns from Aspen. The split between the two has been a painful and public ordeal, but they are both focusing on moving forward with their lives separately.
