Katharine McPhee and David Foster’s son’s nanny tragically died after being run over by an SUV driven by an elderly woman at a Toyota dealership. The incident occurred last week in the San Fernando Valley. The nanny, Yadira Calito, was the victim of the accident.
According to sources, the fatal accident took place on Wednesday morning at Hamer Toyota. An 84-year-old woman was behind the wheel of a Toyota RAV4 when she crashed into the customer reception area. Unfortunately, Kat’s nanny was pinned under the SUV and dragged for approximately 20 feet before finally being freed. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but was later pronounced dead.

Police investigation revealed that the elderly driver was bringing her car in for service when she accidentally hit the gas instead of the brakes. This caused her vehicle to go from the service bay driveway and into the customer reception area. The driver has not been arrested at this time.
In addition to Yadira’s tragic death, two men working at the Toyota dealership were also injured in the crash; however, they are expected to make a full recovery.
