Ahsoka Tano, a former Padawan of Anakin Skywalker, is set to make her debut in the new Star Wars spinoff series called Ahsoka. Played by Rosario Dawson, Ahsoka Tano is a beloved character from the Star Wars universe who first appeared in the animated series, The Clone Wars. After a brief appearance in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka now has her own series that takes place after the fall of the Galactic Empire.
Created by Dave Filoni, Ahsoka is set in the same time period as The Mandalorian and follows the adventures of Ahsoka Tano as she investigates a rising threat in the New Republic. Joining her in this journey is her former apprentice, Sabine Wren, played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo. They are joined by General Hera Syndulla, played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, a fearless leader in the fight against the remnants of the Empire.
The series also introduces new characters like Baylan Skroll, a Force-wielding mercenary played by the late Ray Stevenson, and his apprentice, Shin Hati, portrayed by Ivanna Sakhno. Diana Lee Inosanto plays Morgan Elsbeth, a mysterious character with her own agenda, while David Tennant and Lars Mikkelsen take on the roles of the villainous Grand Admiral Thrawn.
