The 2024 Jeep Wrangler has been released, and Jeep is well aware that many owners will want to customize their vehicles. To cater to these demands, Jeep is offering upgraded parts from American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) to enhance the off-road capability of the updated Wrangler.
This move by Jeep comes after the success of the limited number of 2023 Wrangler Rubicon 20th Anniversary Edition models that were released earlier this year. The customer response was overwhelmingly positive, with all the 20th Anniversary Editions selling out within two hours. Now, Jeep is making AEV upgrades more widely available for the 2024 model year.
There are three AEV packages available for the 2024 Wrangler: Upcountry, Upcountry+, and Level II. Each package offers unique features and enhancements to suit different off-road needs and preferences.
The Upcountry package, priced at $7,476, includes an AEV 2.0-inch suspension lift kit, jack base, and the company’s ProCal module. The ProCal module allows for recalibration of various vehicle software, including the speedometer and tire pressure monitors, to accommodate off-road upgrades. This package also adds 35-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires with satin black AEV Pintler wheels, Mopar fender flares, and a spare tire relocation kit.
Moving up to the Upcountry+ package, priced at $11,599, all the features from the base Upcountry package are included, but additional upgrades are offered. These include a new front bumper and skid plate, as well as an AEV front-camera relocation kit.
For those seeking the ultimate off-road experience, the Rubicon-exclusive Level II package is available. This package, with a price tag of $20,049 for a gasoline Wrangler Rubicon and $22,099 for the Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid, offers the most extensive upgrades. It includes 37-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires mounted on AEV Savegre II satin-black wheels, along with the company’s 2.5-inch DualSport suspension featuring Bilstein 5100 shocks. A new steering damper and a more comprehensive array of body modifications are also part of this package. The AEV front bumper and skid plate, a winch, AEV 7000 series lights, and an AEV rear bumper and tire carrier are additional features included in the Level II package.
Jeep has not disclosed the number of AEV Wranglers it plans to sell. However, it has stated that sales will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The vehicles will be shipped directly from the factory in Toledo, Ohio, to AEV for the upfitting process. Once the upgrades are complete, the vehicles will be delivered to the customer’s dealer of choice.
Overall, the availability of these AEV packages for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler opens up a world of possibilities for owners who want to take their off-roading capabilities to the next level. With a range of options and upgrades to choose from, Jeep enthusiasts can now customize their Wranglers to suit their individual preferences and needs. Whether it’s tackling challenging terrains or simply enhancing the aesthetics of the vehicle, these AEV packages provide an exciting opportunity for Wrangler owners to truly make their vehicles their own.
