The first-ever Metaverse Architecture Biennale, organized by Dearch Space, W3rlds, and Metancy, is set to take place in Decentraland from September 21-24. Under the theme ‘Presence of the Future’, the biennale promises to deliver an immersive experience featuring over 30 digital builds created by architects from around the world.

Taking inspiration from established platforms like the Venice Biennale and Expo, the Metaverse Architecture Biennale offers a unique blend of physical and virtual exhibitions. Renowned names in the avant-garde of digital design, including Killa Design, LAVA, and ATRIUM, are among the contributors to the event. Additionally, 17 participants were selected through an open call to showcase their projects, standing alongside the architects invited by the curators.
The experience of the biennale extends beyond Decentraland. It also includes the W3rlds platform, allowing for over sixty specially designed spaces. Each architect has created installations for both platforms, enabling attendees to teleport between them and engage with various exhibits and a global community of creators.
