Even with the name change, the musical associations are still prevalent throughout the hotel, from its logo to the do-not-disturb signs that reference famous songs.

Upon arrival at the hotel, the concierge staff were extremely accommodating, allowing me to drop off my luggage early and reclaim it later in the day. I was staying in a Star Suite, and after checking in, I was led to a private ‘Backstage’ lounge for guests staying in executive rooms and suites. This unexpected perk provided unlimited refreshments and snacks, adding a touch of luxury to the experience.
The Star Suite I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a super-comfortable King size Hypnos bed and room to accommodate up to four people. The room was equipped with a Crosley turntable and a box full of vinyl records, as well as a Fender guitar and Marshall amplifier for guests who want to indulge in some musical nostalgia. The suite also featured a “Welcome, Paul!” on a mirror, adorned with pictures of iconic music legends such as Amy Winehouse and Bryan May.
