According to law enforcement sources, there is an open case at the New York Police Department with the name “Sean Combs.” The case is active, but the file has been “locked,” indicating that it is a sensitive case with restricted access.
Cassie has filed a federal lawsuit alleging rape, human trafficking, and other accusations. This has prompted the NYPD to urge anyone who has been a victim of sexual assault to file a police report so that a comprehensive investigation can be conducted, and support and services can be offered to survivors.
The statement from the NYPD suggests that not only is this a sexual assault case, but they are actively seeking other alleged victims. However, inquiries made to other law enforcement in various jurisdictions mentioned in Cassie’s complaint, including Miami, Beverly Hills, and Los Angeles, have not resulted in any police reports or launched investigations pertaining to Cassie or Diddy.
In an unrelated 2016 case, there was a breakup argument between Diddy and Cassie, which prompted a domestic incident report in Beverly Hills. However, no legal action followed.
Cassie has made serious claims against Diddy, including rape, assault/battery, and human trafficking, alleging that he forced her to have sex with male prostitutes across state lines.
