Daniel Bausch, Amazon’s vice president of Alexa and Fire TV, stated in the email that the company is realigning its efforts to better serve its customers, focusing on generative AI technology. This shift has led to the discontinuation of certain initiatives, resulting in the elimination of several hundred roles within the Alexa division.
