Target is gearing up for its own summer sale event called Circle Week, which will take place from July 9-15. This event is meant to rival Amazon Prime Day and attract discount-seeking shoppers away from the e-commerce giant.
Circle Week is available to members of Target’s free-to-join Circle loyalty program. During this week-long savings event, shoppers can expect to find up to 50 percent off storewide. Target aims to provide affordable joy to its customers as they stock up on essentials, discover new favorites, and take advantage of its industry-leading same-day services.
Unlike Amazon Prime Day, shoppers don’t need a membership to participate in Target Circle Week. While Target RedCard debit or credit cardholders can enjoy an additional 5 percent discount, all members of Target’s free Circle loyalty program can enjoy additional perks.
Target Circle Week will feature discounts on products from the retailer’s in-house brands. This includes women’s clothing from A New Day, menswear from Goodfellow & Co., kids apparel from Cat & Jack, home furnishings and decor from Threshold and Opalhouse, groceries by Good & Gather, and tech accessories from Heyday.
While Target has not revealed all of the sale details yet, some highlighted deals include 50 percent off Sun Squad outdoor and water items, 30 percent off select kids clothing, 20 percent off Barbie products, $350 off the Lenovo 15.6-in. Touchscreen IdeaPad 3i laptop, $130 off Dyson’s V8 Origin cordless stick vacuum, and $30 off the Keurig K-Mini coffee maker. Shoppers can also expect discounts on popular brands like Apple and Disney.
To enhance the shopping experience, Target offers convenient same-day services. Customers can stock up on web-only deals at home for in-store or Drive Up pickup, saving time when they fill their physical carts. Orders can also be delivered via Shipt for an additional fee.
Target is also offering gift card deals during the sale. Shoppers can receive a $10 gift card with beauty and health purchases of $40 or more and a $15 gift card with purchases on household essentials totaling $50 or more. Additionally, those who spend $50 on food and beverage with same-day services will receive a $15 Target gift card.
For those who can’t wait until July, early markdowns are already available in Target’s Top Deals section and through its Circle loyalty program. These deals cover various categories such as clothing, accessories, water toys, household essentials, and beach towels.
Target Circle Week is just one of many sales events happening this summer. As shoppers gear up for Amazon Prime Day, it’s worth exploring alternative sales to find the best deals.
