Drake has issued a warning to a social media star who is pretending to be the boss of a new rap label, reminiscent of Birdman’s situation, which is not sitting well with Birdman.
The social media star in question is Druski, who recently launched “Coulda Been Records” as a joke. He conducted auditions and uploaded videos of himself hilariously denying aspiring artists. However, Birdman is not a fan of Druski’s antics and made his disapproval clear during an IG Live chat, warning him that he’s encroaching on Cash Money’s territory.
But Druski didn’t back down. He continued to play up the fake feud by creating a sketch where he is upset that Drake used a line in one of his new songs, “Daylight,” that Druski wanted to use in one of his own (fake) songs. Druski captioned the video “Cash Money vs Coulda Been BEEF CONTINUES,” adding fuel to the imaginary fire. While it’s clear that Druski is joking, Birdman seems to be taking it seriously. He posted more photos of Druski on his IG Story, indicating his anger.
The internet is divided on whether Birdman’s reaction is genuine or not, especially considering Druski’s satirical approach. Regardless, Birdman’s comments on Druski’s Instagram post suggest that he is not playing around. Drake also chimed in, saying, “Stunna bout to have you come up missing on Gladys,” further escalating the feud.
This feud started a few months ago when Birdman confronted Druski about his Coulda Been endeavor. Druski tried to calm him down, but it seems the tension has not subsided. Druski continues to lean into the fake feud, enjoying the fact that he has gotten a rise out of Birdman. He clearly finds amusement in stirring the pot and hasn’t backed down.
Druski should be cautious, though, as not everything is fun and games. While the feud may be manufactured, emotions can run high, and it’s essential to recognize the potential consequences.
