The Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo in Costa Rica has recently completed an extensive renovation, introducing new experiences and enhancements for guests to enjoy. The resort’s transformation includes the addition of the Virador Beach Club, the Wellness Shala, an updated Kids For All Seasons facility, and a sustainable renovation of the Arnold Palmer Signature golf course.
The newly opened Virador Beach Club is a luxurious beachside venue where guests can indulge in Eastern Mediterranean flavors at the eatery or lounge on the beach. Adults can also relax by the infinity-edge pool in private cabanas, all while taking in the beautiful Costa Rican coastline.
The Wellness Shala is a space designed to help guests “unlock inner harmony, align with nature, and reconnect with themselves.” This venue, guided by the principles of bio-architecture and sustainability, offers a range of guest experiences focused on well-being and mindfulness.
The Kids For All Seasons facility has also undergone a transformation inspired by the mangroves of Peninsula Papagayo. The updated space, designed by Athens-based architect Polyanna Paraskeva, features furnishings made from ecologically sustainable materials in vibrant colors to invite children to play and explore in a vibrant and engaging environment.
The Ocean Course at Peninsula Papagayo is an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary known for its diverse wildlife, elevation changes, and panoramic ocean vistas. The 18-hole, par-72 Arnold Palmer Signature course and driving range has undergone a renovation that prioritizes sustainability, including the implementation of a precision irrigation system to reduce water usage by 20 percent. Other golf course improvements include more teeing areas, and 12 acres of native vegetation with less bunkering to enhance playability and beauty. Additionally, the Golf Pro and Tennis shop at the resort have been updated to provide golfers with a newly designed retail space and lounge area.
In addition to these exciting updates, guests at the resort can also enjoy a range of nearby activities and attractions. Whether it’s exploring the natural beauty of Costa Rica, taking part in water sports, or simply relaxing on the beach, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
