The KC23 is a track-only car, based on the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo race car. However, unlike the race car, Ferrari designers were free from homologation rules and were able to give the KC23 a completely unique design. The resulting shape is vastly different from the donor car, with even the glass surfaces and lights being redesigned.
The exterior redesign not only gave the KC23 a distinctive appearance but also allowed for the incorporation of aerodynamic aids to enhance performance. When the car’s engine is switched on, panels behind the front wheel arches extend, contributing to the generation of downforce.
