Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann have found themselves in even more financial trouble. Recently, a court in Georgia ordered the couple to pay approximately $230,000 after allegedly failing to pay off their credit card bills.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Simmons Bank obtained a judgment against Kim and Kroy for $226,836.22. In addition to that, they were also ordered to pay $178.51 in interest, $2,071.57 in foreclosure fees, and $1,945.31 in attorneys’ fees. Altogether, the total debt comes out to be $231,031.61.
This news comes after Kim and Kroy were sued by SAKS/CAPITAL ONE back in August. The company claimed that Kim had a credit card with a $115,000 limit and had fallen behind on her payments. The suit alleged that Kim owed a total of $156,080.64 on the card.
In an attempt to alleviate their financial troubles, Kim and Kroy recently listed their Georgia family home for $6 million and requested the court to stop a scheduled foreclosure auction on the property to allow them to sell it on their own. However, it remains to be seen if the sale of their home will be enough to settle their mounting debts.
Despite their financial woes, Kim and Kroy are still living under the same roof. However, they have been ordered by the court to maintain their distance. Kim resides in the basement/nanny suite, while Kroy occupies the primary bedroom.
It is clear that the debts continue to pile up for Kim and Kroy, and they are in desperate need of a solution. Hopefully, the court will allow them to sell their home without it going to foreclosure auction in order to help them mitigate some of their financial burdens.
In conclusion, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann find themselves in a dire financial situation as they face mounting debts. They have been ordered to pay over $230,000 for allegedly failing to pay off their credit card bills. With their family home listed for sale, they hope to settle their debts and regain financial stability. However, only time will tell if their efforts will be successful.
