Piper, the upcoming supernatural thriller starring Elizabeth Hurley, has released its first trailer and secured a buyer in the United Kingdom. 101 Films has acquired the film from writer/director Anthony Waller (known for Mute and Witness). Following the Cannes film market, VMI sold Piper to 101 Films. The movie is set to have its world premiere at FrightFest 2023 on August 27, presented by 101 Films and VMI Worldwide. The deal was negotiated by JD Beaufils at VMI Worldwide on behalf of the filmmakers and Andy Lyon from 101 Films.
