Lovango Resort + Beach Club, a family-owned private island resort, is excited to announce the addition of new one- and two-bedroom cottages set to be unveiled this December. Located on Caneel Bay in the United States Virgin Islands, the resort is also introducing new winter activities, including a “Stay & Sail” package.
The one-bedroom cottages are designed to accommodate a couple or a family of two adults and up to three children, offering 450 square feet of indoor space and a private outdoor deck. For larger groups, two one-bedroom cottages can be rented together, doubling the amount of space. Each cottage is furnished with modern amenities and custom-made furniture, ensuring guests have a comfortable and luxurious experience during their stay.
In addition to the new accommodations, Lovango Resort is introducing the “Stay & Sail” package, which allows guests to charter a private boat for a three- or four-day sailing adventure to the British Virgin Islands or the U.S. Virgin Islands. For guests looking to immerse themselves in marine conservation efforts, the resort also offers a “Coral Reef Caretaker Package,” providing opportunities for guests to participate in caring for the resort’s coral nurseries through private dive and snorkeling tours.
Furthermore, Lovango Resort is launching a supervised “Children’s Program” tailored for kids ages four to pre-teen, available from February 12 to April 26, 2024. The program will run Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is complimentary for overnight guests, offering parents the opportunity to relax and enjoy the resort’s amenities while their children are entertained with engaging activities.
As part of their stay, overnight guests will have complimentary access to the Lovango Beach Club, which features stunning views of the U.S. Virgin Islands, a 70-foot infinity pool, snorkeling gear, and a variety of beach activities. Additionally, guests can enjoy food and optional drink service while taking in the beautiful surroundings. The resort also offers concierge services, waterfront dining, and a three-beach experience, including a visit to the national park’s Honeymoon Beach and a ferry service to both St. John and St. Thomas for access to the national park, hiking, beach visits, and dining options.
For those looking to take home a piece of their experience, Lovango Resort offers a curated shopping experience with The Shops on Lovango, featuring five retail shops with hand-picked items by owner Gwenn Snider, including a variety of stylish items, homewares, and gifts.
In celebration of the holiday season, Lovango Resort will host a holiday-themed “Sand & Stars” party with a buffet and live music on Christmas Day, as well as a waterfront dining experience followed by a beach party with live music on New Year’s Eve.
