Scott Pilgrim Takes Off follows the story of Scott Pilgrim as he tries to win the heart of Ramona Flowers, while simultaneously battling her seven evil exes. The visually captivating anime series is both a continuation and expansion of the original graphic novels and the live-action film. Fans of the series can expect the same comedic timing and character development that made the original story such a hit. With the returning voice cast from the live-action film and a star-studded lineup of guest voices, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is sure to be a treat for longtime fans and newcomers to the series alike. The eight-episode anime series also features electric battles and killer guitar riffs, setting the stage for an action-packed and music-filled adventure. Science SARU and UCP have done an excellent job of bringing Bryan Lee O’Malley’s iconic characters to life in this new adaptation. Whether you’re a diehard fan of the comics or discovering Scott Pilgrim for the first time, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is definitely worth a watch.
