Four accomplished executives have been hired to play critical roles in the development of the organization’s immersive technology, responsible artificial intelligence, and sustainability efforts. These hires bring a wealth of industry expertise and experience from renowned companies such as Microsoft, Object Theory, and IQXR.
The first hire is Michael Hoffman, who joins as the Head of Platform. Hoffman has a background in software design and extended reality expertise, having played pivotal roles in the development of Microsoft’s award-winning MRTK tools, Microsoft Mesh, and HoloLens partnerships with NASA/JPL, Trimble, and AutoDesk. His knowledge and experience will be instrumental in unlocking the true potential of XR in the enterprise.
Joining alongside Hoffman is Michael House, who takes on the role of Director of Engineering. House also has a background in software design and extended reality, with experience in collaboration with Microsoft and Object Theory. He will leverage his expertise to lead the development of interoperable platform capabilities that enhance Metaverse solutions and create immersive experiences within any Metaverse.
Ally Kaiser, the Director of Product, Platform, completes the trio of hires from Microsoft and Object Theory. With her extensive experience and collaboration with Hoffman and House, Kaiser will bring her deep understanding of product development and delivery to create an intelligent spatial computing platform at IQXR, a company within The Mesmerise Group. Together, they will hold leadership roles as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Product Officer, respectively, at IQXR.
One of the primary objectives of the IQXR team will be to create a platform that allows users, such as independent software vendors and enterprise XR teams, to build immersive solutions effortlessly. By streamlining content creation and understanding enterprise requirements, IQXR aims to accelerate time to value (TTV) while minimizing the investment of effort and resources for its customers. The platform will prioritize factors such as cross-device compatibility, open standards adoption, and advancements in edge computing to meet the evolving needs of users.
Additionally, The Mesmerise Group has hired Danny Haydon as its first Head of Customer Engagement. Haydon brings a wealth of experience in sales enablement and business development from companies like Owlin, diwo, and S&P Global Market Intelligence. With his expertise in GTM strategy, Haydon will establish a team of sales experts to focus on the commercialization of The Mesmerise Group’s platform and services. He will work closely with the marketing team to develop partner channels and enhance the company’s brand presence.
