The recent appearance of Arnold Schwarzenegger on the Manningcast show on ESPN during the NY Jets vs. L.A. Chargers game Monday night created a stir on social media. A moment that caught everyone’s attention was when Arnold fed his pet donkey, Lulu, in front of millions, with Peyton Manning looking absolutely shocked beyond belief.
The legendary Peyton Manning’s reaction was priceless. As always, the famous football bros brought A-list guests to the show, bringing on the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger. But, the legendary action movie star wasn’t alone. Schwarzenegger’s special guest, his pet donkey Lulu, threw Peyton for a loop. “Oh yes,” Schwarzenegger calmly told Lulu as he fed her, and the look on Peyton’s face was hilarious!
To alleviate the awkwardness, Peyton’s brother, Eli Manning, took a shot at his older brother by pointing out the resemblance between the donkey and Peyton. “That donkey looks like you eating Peyton,” Eli jokingly remarked.
Of course, the 76-year-old actor, bodybuilder, and politician’s love for animals is widely known. Outside of his donkey, Arnold has a pet pony, pig, and some dogs. Arnold recently explained how he got the donkey. He and his girlfriend felt that their pony, Whiskey, needed a best friend, and so he got Lulu. “They were hanging out together, loving each other,” Schwarzenegger told HOLA!. “She needed a companion. Look at them, they’re getting along!”
The image of Arnold Schwarzenegger feeding his donkey Lulu on national television has since gone viral, sparking a wave of memes and humorous reactions across social media platforms.
Schwarzenegger’s appearance on the Manningcast, along with Lulu, has further solidified his reputation as a larger-than-life personality, known for his love for animals and his ability to entertain in unexpected ways. Let’s hope Arnold brings Lulu and Whiskey on the Manningcast next time, as their presence brought a delightful and entertaining twist to the show.
