Binance, in collaboration with footballing legend Cristiano Ronaldo, is set to launch a new NFT collection called ‘Forever CR7: The GOAT’ on July 3. This collection aims to celebrate Ronaldo’s record-breaking goal scoring career by immortalizing some of his greatest moments on the pitch through digital NFT artworks.
The collection consists of a massive 29,000 NFTs, each representing a specific goal scored by Ronaldo. These NFTs will be categorized into four tiers of rarity: Super Super Rare (SSR), Super Rare (SR), Rare (R), and Normal (N). The top-tier SSR NFTs, of which there are seven, will come with the exclusive perk of a personal training session with Ronaldo himself. These SSR NFTs will be available through a 48-hour auction, starting at a price of $15,000. One NFT from this tier will be reserved for a future giveaway.
The remaining NFTs in the collection will be distributed through different mechanisms. Binance will offer 120 SR and 1,200 R NFTs through a subscription model, priced at $300 and $30 respectively. The N grade collectibles can be obtained by purchasing a ForeverCR7 box, which contains seven NFTs, for a price of only $10.
Ronaldo expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “It is great to have the opportunity to collaborate again with Binance on this project for my fans, especially those that have cheered me on since those early goals.”
