At its Annual Sales Conference in Las Vegas, Signature Travel Network introduced its new “Circles” specialist program to advisors in attendance. The program is set to officially launch in January 2024 and will initially include 10 specialties, such as Positive Impact, LGBTQ+, Exploration, Wellness Travel, and more. However, it is expected to expand to include additional travel specialties and sub-sections within each Circle.
Karryn Christopher, Signature’s executive vice president of marketing and preferred partnerships, shared additional details about the Circles program with Luxury Travel Advisor. According to Christopher, a survey will be sent out to all Signature advisors on November 13 to gauge their interest in specific Circles. Advisors will be asked to rank their top three interests, and those who already consider themselves specialists in a specific travel niche will have the opportunity to join the program. Participating advisors will gain access to webinars, virtual trainings, email campaigns, newsletters, and relevant articles and promotions.
Suppliers will also have the chance to volunteer to participate in relevant Circles. Christopher noted that while there will be no vetting or capping for advisors, only select suppliers will be allowed to join. Those suppliers who have relevant experience and products will be part of the communities. Signature aims to ensure that participating suppliers have the support and expertise to provide advisors with valuable resources and information.
The Circles program is expected to be collaborative, with opportunities for advisors specializing in a particular travel style to share their insights and best practices with those looking to grow their businesses in that niche. Additionally, Circles will include “smaller Circles” focused on specific destinations, such as Australia.
Although the program currently includes 10 travel styles, Christopher mentioned that other specialties will likely join the program, either on their own or as sub-Circles. For example, Indigenous travel may be incorporated as a standalone Circle or as a component of Positive Impact or Exploration Travel. The program is designed to focus on the specific interests of advisors, travelers, and partners through segmentation and detailed attention.
The debut Circles include Accessible Travel, Exploration – Active, Expedition & Nature, Family, Food & Wine, Golf, LGBTQ+, Positive Impact, Rail, Solo, and Wellness Travel.
In addition to the program details, Luxury Travel Advisor provided links to related articles, including reflections from Ignacio Maza on his career as he launches his next chapter, highlights from the Largay Travel Vision Conference 2023, an announcement about Signature Travel Network’s new Board of Directors, and information about the increase in future bookings shared by Virtuoso.
As Signature Travel Network prepares to launch its Circles specialist program, advisors and suppliers are eager to participate in this collaborative and comprehensive initiative. With a focus on segmenting travel interests and providing valuable resources, the Circles program is poised to benefit both advisors and travelers seeking specialized experiences.
