Verve, the talent and literary agency, is making a big move in Los Angeles. The agency, run by Bill Weinstein, has signed a deal to relocate its main headquarters to the BA/SE creative campus in the Hollywood Media District. The new location is a few minutes’ drive eastward from its current office on San Vicente Blvd.
The BA/SE creative campus is home to various companies in the entertainment industry, including audio postproduction company Formosa Group. It is also conveniently located near the historic Sunset Las Palmas Studios. This new location will provide Verve with a vibrant and creative environment that is perfect for their operations.
The move is expected to take place in September, and it will be the first relocation for Verve’s Los Angeles office since it settled into its current Miracle Mile space in 2012. At that time, the agency had only 17 employees. Before that, Verve was based in a Culver City office space. This move to the BA/SE creative campus reflects the agency’s growth and expansion over the years.
Verve will occupy a spacious 53,000-square-foot space in the renovated BA/SE creative campus. The campus has been owned by Lincoln Property Company since 2020. The move has been in the works for the past 18 months, with Verve’s leadership carefully planning and designing their new headquarters. This move signifies a new chapter for the agency as they continue to evolve and adapt to the changing landscape of the entertainment industry.
In recent years, Verve has experienced significant growth. They opened a New York office three years ago, allowing them to expand their reach and represent clients on both coasts. They have also ventured into new areas such as representing TV directors and establishing an audio division for podcasts. This move to the BA/SE creative campus will provide the agency with the space and resources to support their expanding operations and services.
Approximately 50 agents, executives, assistants, and coordinators will be making the move to the new office next month. This relocation brings excitement and anticipation to the Verve team as they prepare to settle into their new space and continue their work in representing and supporting talented individuals in the entertainment industry.
Lincoln Property Company sees Verve as an anchor tenant for the BA/SE campus, highlighting the agency’s importance and influence in the industry. However, the length of the new lease has not been specified. The 12 partners at Verve expressed their enthusiasm for the move in a joint statement, emphasizing that it is a celebration of their shared success and a reflection of their strategic plans for future growth.
Overall, this move to the BA/SE creative campus represents a significant milestone for Verve. It not only provides them with a new and improved office space but also symbolizes their growth and success as a talent agency. As Verve continues to evolve and expand its services, this move sets the foundation for further achievements and opportunities in the future.
