Bezalel Prelude XR for $100: The Bezalel Prelude XR is part of the clever X range of products from Bezalel, which includes two MagSafe power banks and a wireless charging plug. The XR model, which I had the opportunity to test, has a capacity of 10,000mAh, while the smaller X model has a capacity of 5,000mAh and is priced at $80. Although the XR model is bulkier and the kickstand feels flimsy, it provides more than enough power to fully charge an iPhone 14 Pro. Both power banks are able to charge iPhones at 7.5 watts and other Qi wireless phones at up to 15 watts. Additionally, you can conveniently charge your AirPods on the other side at 3 watts. The power banks also feature USB-C ports that can deliver 20 watts. The XS wall charger from Bezalel, priced at $60, supports MagSafe and offers 27-watt wired charging.
Moft Snap Stand Power Set for $79: The Moft Snap Stand Power Set is a stylish power bank with a soft faux leather finish. It feels comfortable in the hand and has an appealing design. However, its 3,400mAh capacity only added 41 percent to my iPhone 14 Pro’s battery. The power bank comes with a magnetically attached folding stand and wallet, which can hold a couple of cards or emergency cash. One advantage of the Moft Snap Stand Power Set is that you can detach the power bank when it’s dead and still keep the stand. However, considering its limited power capacity, it may not offer enough power for extended use.
UAG Lucent Power Kickstand for $60: The UAG Lucent Power Kickstand is a MagSafe power bank with a curved design and a soft-touch coating. It features a tough metal kickstand for added convenience. However, its capacity is only 4,000mAh, which is relatively low compared to other options in the market. Despite its size, it was able to charge my iPhone 14 Pro by just under 60 percent. The USB-C port on the UAG Lucent Power Kickstand supports up to 18 watts of charging. While it may not offer the best power and performance for the price, it does provide a durable and stylish option.
OtterBox Wireless Power Bank for MagSafe for $72: The OtterBox Wireless Power Bank is a reliable option for MagSafe charging. However, it is a bit expensive considering its 5,000mAh capacity and the magnets could be stronger. The power bank features a USB-C port that supports 20-watt wired charging. OtterBox also offers a smaller model with a capacity of 3,000mAh.
Mophie Snap+ Juice Pack Mini for $50: The Mophie Snap+ Juice Pack Mini is a 5,000mAh power bank that works well with MagSafe iPhones. It includes an optional attachment for non-MagSafe phones. For those seeking a higher capacity, Mophie offers the Snap+ Powerstation Stand with double the capacity for $70. However, it is important to note that the Powerstation Stand is a bit chunkier.
RapidX Boosta for $40: The RapidX Boosta is a colorful MagSafe power bank with a 5,000mAh capacity. It also includes an optional charging stand with a USB-C jack. The portable charger added a respectable 76 percent to my iPhone 14 Pro’s battery. However, the wired USB-C charging is limited to 10 watts.
Ampere Jetpack for $50: The Ampere Jetpack stands out with its name and includes two ports on the bottom edge. It features both USB-C and Lightning ports, although it does not come with a cable included. The power bank has decent and strong magnets, but it only managed to boost my iPhone 14 Pro’s battery by 64 percent.
HyperJuice Magnetic Wireless Battery Pack for $50: The HyperJuice Magnetic Wireless Battery Pack is another 5,000mAh MagSafe power bank. It features four LEDs and a round power button on the back, giving it a stylish look. However, the USB-C port is limited to 12 watts, and it only managed to charge my iPhone 14 Pro up to 71 percent.
Apple MagSafe Battery Pack for $94: Apple’s MagSafe Battery Pack offers a sleek design with a secure MagSafe grip. However, it only charges at 5 watts, which is slower compared to other options on this list. It does have the option to bump up the charging speed to 15 watts by using a Lightning cable. Despite its slower charging, it may have the benefit of generating less heat, potentially contributing to better battery longevity. Unfortunately, it has a relatively low capacity of 2,920mAh and is also on the pricier side.
Alogic Matrix Universal Magnetic Power Bank for $60: The Alogic Matrix Universal Magnetic Power Bank is a lightweight option with a capacity of 5,000mAh. It has an angular look, which is designed to slide into different docks, including a 2-in-1 dock ($100), a 3-in-1 dock ($140), and a couple of car docks ($90). However, it should be noted that one of the Alogic batteries tested failed to charge, while the other managed to add
