Bill Maher and Joe Rogan recently had a discussion on Rogan’s podcast about their opinions on President Joe Biden. While they both agreed that Biden is a lackluster president and may be mentally compromised, they had differing views on his trustworthiness compared to former president Donald Trump.
Rogan expressed his concerns about Biden’s tendency to lie. Maher countered by saying that Trump lies more than Biden. Rogan argued that comparing the two does not benefit anyone. Maher responded by pointing out that since they are running against each other, comparing their honesty is necessary.
The discussion then shifted to Biden’s mental state. Rogan claimed that Biden’s speeches often include made-up words and stumbling through sentences, suggesting that something is wrong with him. Maher acknowledged that Trump appears healthier and more robust, but he also called him a criminal and crazy. Maher explained that while stupid and crazy are two different things, Trump exhibits both qualities.
The conversation then turned to Trump’s alleged criminal activities. Maher listed 91 criminal charges against Trump, including accusations of organizing a fake slate of electors in battleground states to falsely claim victory in the election. Maher argued that Trump tried every possible way to steal the election, including through the courts, legislators, and the Justice Department. He emphasized that the Hunter Biden scandal is significant but cannot be compared to what Trump attempted.
Rogan questioned whether Trump genuinely believed the election was stolen or if he was just trying to deceive people. Maher responded by saying it doesn’t matter because all the people around Trump told him he lost the election, and he didn’t want people to know he lost.
Maher described Trump as a clinical case of malignant narcissism, which affects everything he thinks and does. He pointed out that authoritarian leaders like Putin were able to manipulate Trump by flattering him. Maher concluded that while Biden is not his first choice, Trump is a dangerous and crazy stupid criminal.
The discussion between Maher and Rogan highlighted their differing opinions on Biden and Trump. While they both expressed concerns about Biden’s presidency, they disagreed on the extent of his trustworthiness compared to Trump. Maher criticized Trump’s actions and character, portraying him as a dangerous figure.
